Cluster Acoustic Workstation

Cluster Acoustic Workstation is designed for libraries training centers and collaborative offices that need both individual focus and efficient group planning. Tall dividers organize multiple desks into a compact cluster and help limit visual and conversational distraction.

FAQ

  • EGROspace can review cluster orientation divider height worktop spacing fabric samples and access routes on the floor plan. If measured acoustic performance is required the buyer can identify that requirement before the specification is finalized.

  • Each worktop needs enough depth for equipment and enough side clearance for entry without contacting the divider. The spacing should also preserve access for cleaning and cable maintenance where required.

  • Confirm whether the project requires a tested acoustic value or only reduced visual and conversational distraction. Fabric and XPE construction alone should not be treated as proof of a specific sound absorption rating.

  • Its inward facing cluster can use a compact central footprint but every entry path still needs adequate chair and walking clearance. The cluster should be tested on the actual floor plan before production.

  • Tall fabric wrapped dividers interrupt direct sightlines and create more defined individual work areas. The upholstered construction can soften the surrounding environment but no quantified acoustic rating should be assumed unless separately tested.
